Links are followed
What the check finds
A nofollow tag tells crawlers not to follow the page’s links, so pages it links to may go unfound.
Why it matters for AI answers
A nofollow robots tag tells crawlers not to follow any link on the page. Pages reached only through it may not be found by search engines or AI crawlers.
How to fix it
- Check the page for <meta name="robots" content="nofollow"> and the X-Robots-Tag header.
- Remove nofollow from pages whose links should be crawled.
- Use rel="nofollow" on individual links instead when only some links should not be followed.
