AI shopping
What shopping agents need from a store, scored only for brands that sell online: product facts, UCP, agents.md, returns.

What it tells you
Part of AI readability, scored only when the brand sells online. These checks read what shopping agents need before they recommend a store or buy from it.
For how GeckoCheck reviews product data and visibility in AI shopping experiences, see GeckoCheck Commerce. This is a public product overview, not the signed-in report.
Checks
UCP profile present and valid
No /.well-known/ucp. UCP is the manifest a shopping agent reads to learn what a merchant supports; the standard is still emerging.
The Universal Commerce Profile at /.well-known/ucp is malformed or missing its version. Agents that read it will skip it.
Read the documentation ›Product facts agents compare are marked up
The product markup is missing facts shopping agents compare between stores: price, currency, availability, GTIN, shipping or returns. An agent compares offers on structured data, so a fact that is only in the page text is not compared.
Read the documentation ›agents.md present
No /agents.md. It is a plain-text file of instructions for AI agents, such as what the store sells and how checkout works; it is new and optional.
Read the documentation ›Return policy page present
No return policy page at /policies/refund-policy, where Shopify serves it. Shopping agents read it, and some assistants only check out for stores that have one.

- AI readability and site health
AI readability is whether AI models can reach and understand the brand's pages; site health is how fast, safe and sound they are.
