No meta-refresh redirect
What the check finds
The page redirects with a meta refresh. Google recommends against it, and it is handled less predictably than an HTTP redirect.
Why it matters for AI answers
A meta refresh needs the HTML to be parsed before the redirect is seen. Many AI crawlers do not follow it, so they may read the empty source page instead.
How to fix it
- Replace the meta refresh with a server-side 301 or 308 redirect.
- If a server redirect is not possible, use a JavaScript redirect only as a last resort.
- Update internal links to point at the destination URL directly.
