Page source readable

What the check finds

Whether the page’s raw HTML could be read, which is what most AI crawlers see.

Why it matters for AI answers

Most AI crawlers read the raw HTML and do not run JavaScript. If the source cannot be read, or holds no real content, those crawlers have nothing to quote.

How to fix it

  1. Make sure the page returns 200 with HTML to plain requests, without login or bot challenges.
  2. Put the main text, headings and links in the HTML the server sends.
  3. Check that firewall or bot protection rules do not block allowed AI crawler user agents.
