Images have alt text
What the check finds
Images have no alt text. Alt text is content, it describes the image to crawlers and to assistive technology, but its absence does not hide the page text.
Why it matters for AI answers
Alt text is how crawlers and AI systems learn what an image shows, and screen readers depend on it. Missing alt text loses that context, though the page text still counts.
How to fix it
- Add an alt attribute to each meaningful image that says what it shows.
- Be specific, for example "Blue waterproof hiking boot, side view".
- Use alt="" for purely decorative images so they are skipped.
