Share of voice
The brand's slice of the AI conversation against tracked competitors, across citations, mentions and sources.
What it tells you
How much of the conversation about this category belongs to the brand rather than to competitors. Presence asks whether the brand is there; share of voice asks how much room it takes beside everyone else.
How it is measured
- Citations, mentions and sources in each answer are counted for the brand and for every tracked competitor, and stronger signals count for more.
- The shares are taken over the whole tracked field in each report, so they add up across the field.
- It can fall because a competitor grew, even when nothing about the brand changed. The page says when that is the cause.
What moves it
- Winning the queries where a competitor leads by a few points.
- Getting cited on the pages that cite the leading competitor.
